camber tops
Guest_
im about to put in my lowered springs and camber tops this weekend, trying to work out a way to pull the strut out and not have to bleed the brakes. The sedan has stanza front struts.

was reading up and the mustang guys can do it while its in the car, you just raise the car and the lca drops it out of the tower top.
I have the spring compressors at the ready too.
Any tips from those who have done it?

are your brake hoses attatched to the strut?
if not just unbolt the caliper and let it hang there, take the whole strut out (3 bolts at top, 2 iinto the steering arm)
couldnt be much easier

Just make sure you don't let the caliper hang by the hose and ruin or weaken the hose.

No thats the ball joint bolts dude, just undo the two large ones (17mm spanner or socket) under the strut just behind your brake disc, they bolt the strut to the steering arm.
