i am using 175 60 r14 strecthes nice n 6 inch rims too.
have one set of g grids and the rim protector bit some times rubbed on inner arch at rear but thats because of the et pulsar rim offset (the are only 5 inch wide) but the turranzzas dont hav the rim protector and are great, no rubs.
heaps of rom up front

With 14s. I'd be running 185/55-14

Don't run 205s. 195s would be ok too, but for the front, 185/50-55 rule.

Cheers.

stretching the tyres just gives you less sidewall as the tread is not all theway to the lip of the rim... think jap spec style.

What companys make these tyres?

Im after the smallest sidewall possible for my Z alloys (14x5.5") to put on my 1000 wagon.

Bridgestone make 165/65R14 570 overall dia
Falken make 175/55R14
Yokohama make 175/60/R14 566 overall dia

I cant really go over 575 overall dia,

Sorry for the Hijack but it may help

I'm running a ute diff with 7 inch rims, and did some mods with a hammer to the inner wheel arch.

they where rubbing on the recess for the rear door. when i'm up it the wheel arch goes down past the tyre at the back. so thats why it was rubbing.
