Anyone had any good/helpful experiences shipping from New Zealand to Australia? I want to have a gearbox sent to Aus and don't want to get involved in ridiculous expense with freighting customs clearance etc. which might end up making the exercise too expensive. Post is the fisrt place I looked but the weight limit is 20 kg which is probably 4 - 5 kg less than a (packed) gearbox. Any ideas or suggestion would be most gratefully received. Tony

I have shipped gearboxes and engines from Sydney to NZ and it just about killed me as it was quite the mish!

I would call Datrats as Feral has been known to move the odd car and part between both countries. He would know the best mob to go with down Melbourne way.
