need some help, i will run through the problem, the ute isnt running so good, i have a set of twin 45 webers on my a15, it is back firing, and coughing and spluttering. on the manifold there is like a pressure thing, and every now and then it lets a big burst of pressure off???, sounds like a BOV. the ute isnt idleing well either, it has done this b4, but stopped within 20minutes, but now it has stuck around for 2 days, i have noticed it doesnt happen when your reving that much, but when you take ya foot of the pedal it starts carrying on. anybody think they not wat the problem is. i havent had much experience with webers so any advice is much appreciated

on that note, and a quick look, the air filters are a tad dirty, could that be causing it??, and it is also blowing a lil bit of smoke, could the problem be that its running 2 rich???, and can this just start happening out of the blue?

Twin 45s are way to big for A15 unless is absoulty wild. How long have you had them on the a15? Sounds like a richness problem to me. If you can here a pressure sound check all your line to the carbies and seals. Have a look on the little Brass cap on top of the carbies see if there is fuel coming out of them, you can undo the cap as they are your main fuel jets. if your having a flooding problem you can see from there, could also be the fuel bowls.

Are the carbies spitting and popping?

What size chokes are you running on the 45s?

Are you runnig a fuel reg? Needle vavles could of #### themselves and causing it to flood. Spitting and popping is too rich.

What fuel pump are you using.

Use the reg and set it to 1.5psi at idle, then make sure at higher revs the presure does not drop off, if it does you need a pump with more flow.

If you dont have the reg, take it to the shop and tell them to fix it. Did they work on it before?
