Define 'thrust' bearing.

If it's the clutch release bearing, then I believe that it would be the same as the four speed version. I can't see any reason why it would be different.
I think that this release bearing is the same for the 60 series equiped models too.

Dman were you thinking of "throwout bearing"? That's what we often call a clutch release bearing here (US of A). There are two different lengths for A-series.

The transmission uses thrust washers. Washers and snaprings come in different thicknesses to adjust the end-play.

Team_Dat, there are three different A-series dogleg 5-speeds: 56, 60, and 63 series. Which one do you have?

Yes, throwout bearing is another widely used term. I just went more for a description than a common name for the sake of clarity.
I know that the bearing carrier comes in two lengths in the 56 series boxes, but I'm pretty sure that the bearing itself is the same for all 56 series boxes behind 1200 & A12 engines.
I also suspect that the same thrust/release/throwout bearing is also interchangeable on the 60 series boxes.
