monotorque head gasket's

I have been told that monotorque brand head gaskets only need to be torqued down once and never retorqued after x amount of km's, is this true? I have torqued the head down in three stages, 29 lbft, 44lbft and 59lbft as per instructions

I guess your right neil, I mean surely retightening the bolts couldn't do any harm hey
I have already changed one too many head gaskets this month!
