Hey guys, im pretty sure the float in my fuel tank on my 1200 ute is stuck up the top of the tank as it reads full ALL the time. Now wouldnt that be nice to have a tank full all the time

But its not, ive run out of petrol 3 times and its giving me the sh*ts not knowing how much i have in there! Is there an easy way to get it back down? Or will i need to remove the tank and have a look inside...?

Cheers
Dave

The gauge is fine as it was checked bout 2 months ago when i got some other stuff wired up & it came up ok. (this problem has been like this since i bought the ute & havent done anything about it till now, lazy i know )
I gave it a few small wacks with a rubber mallet the other day & did nothing but havent tried accessing it thru the tray hole thingy as of yet so ill give that a whirl.
Anyone else had this problem before? What was the solution? My only fear is that ill have to remove the tank and have a look at it from the inside

Cheers
Dave
