11-12 deg of timing as for carb that needs to be set up for your location.(temp, altitude ect)

Dwell ................ 49 to 55 degrees. [55 prefered] Point gap 0.508mm or 0.020"
Timing .............. 5 deg BTDC @ 700 rpm [Manual] 600 rpm on 'D' [Auto]
Adjust idle mix to fastest idle, or highest vacuum level.


One adjustment often affects another, so you need to ensure that all of these specs are on the numbers before you walk away.
Most people [including me] prefer to run a little more advance & at 2,500 ft elevation, I run 10 deg at 600 rpm, but this might cause pinging at sea level.

Perform all final adjustments at operating temperature.
