Hello boys and girls
As per header, I'm chasing a pair of 120Y disk struts. What do they normally go for these days? I've checked with some local wreckers and they had nothing. I dont need any of the brake parts as I will be fitting the S13 set up.

Thanks

Thanks.
But I think I'll stick with the 120Y.

i like the idea of the 120y struts with s13 brakes, but do they even sell any performance inserts these days for that strut? gabriel or monroe dont count!

That's a vaild question. But something that may require a dedicated thread in the main forum. My main reason is that I wont have the extra track width issue that you get with the stanza.
I am also getting a quote to remake the wheel hubs to suit a 5 stud set up. More on that latter.............

Thanks

Short-coupe I was refering to the gas strut question. I have no issue with your asking how much he wants for the Stanza struts.

Any one else with some 120Y strut answers for me?

The 120y struts are good if you intend on keeping the ride height standard.
I've lowered the front of my 120y with a set of king spring (lowers 1.1/4inch) and wacked in a set of monroe gt gas shocks. 3 months down the track and 1 of the shocks have already gone.
I was going to cut 2inch out of the strut and searched high and low for an alternative shock to use but could't find 1.
120y's where never made with the intention of being lowered or having performance breaking.
I suggest use parts off cars that where made with the intention of performance and you'll save yourself a lot of trouble and money.

thats my 2c anyway

Will you be using the s13 setup with the 5 stud hub? I may have a set of 120Y struts (I will have to have a look for you) but I don't think they had the hubs. Just the strut, insert, spring and strut tops.
I will have a look for you tonight.
