VL Turbo should be a 3.9:1 Maybe the seller can pop the rear cover and rear the numbers off the crownwheel. VL Turbo LSDs are normally fried. For obvious reasons.

Still a good item though. Worth getting at the right price.

Hey guys
Diff needs to go, I will let it go cheap. PM for inspection. These diffs are mega strong and quite hard to come by.

hmm I was sure they were 3.45:1, but i dont know where that number came from so you may be right dattodude. Do you know what it costs to rebuild one of these or r31 LSDs? oh and PM sent

About 200-400 dollars according to forums. Labour plus shims to retension the springs.
But remember that a little 1200 will have a lower 'LSD break point' required when comparing to a heavy VL turbo. So a worn LSD in a commodore might be fine in a 1200. Get it installed, and rebuild it later if there is a problem with the LSD tension.

OK so standard VL is 3.45, VLT is 3.9? so VLT is exactly the same as R31 Sillhouette?
