Is my car a 1200?

i was browsing the site trying to find out wat model my car is i think its a 1200 but the year is 1978 . iv looked everywhere in the car and cant find anymore information. the registration papers only says its a 1978 datsun

No it is an L20-series powered A10 coupe - known as a Stanza in Australia. Where are you located?
Looks like a California plate and definitely US-spec bumpers.

I am pretty sure that is a 510 hatch , in the U.S

Yep, A10. Badged "510" in USA, but with solid rear axle... nothing like the earlier ('68-'73" 510 series.

Hmm... are the key scratches new? If so do you have a redheaded girlfriend who drives a Green Saturn!
