Autometer are the best gauges you can buy, Electronic are easy to install and the cleanest fitting units you can use
Start with a tachometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, NOS pressure (good if you are running a bottle warmer), coolant temperature, voltage and if you want you can also have a adjustble speedometer that is electronically adjustable to suit diff ratio swaps or tyre and rim changes in a few minutes
You can buy what ever you want to suit your car style wise check out the autometer site and find a style that suits your taste the best good luck with your car

So any idea what your finished product will look like?
one day (when I'm way rich) I'll get a whole new dash. I've got the standard spec '74 120y (boring as you know what). I was thinking of going for a round guage sporty look. Does anyone know if the round guage dash (say out of a coupe) would be a straight swap into a '74 ? Cheers

hmmm never heard of those gauges, but autometer do blow there own horn and slap high prices on their gear and i have never heard of a bad comment of their accuracy or reliability plus they look cool

Also in regards to the bonnet, i am wanting to put a bonnet scoop but i dunno. i was wondering what you all think of the nissan pulsar gtir bonnets, or even the twin scoops on a monaro...i know that alot of people don't like bonnet scoops on dattos but i want mine to stand out when i take it to shows but not stand out in a bad way. i am hoping that once its done i can enter it into Summernats......that's my dream really.

I think a datto with monaro scoops whould look better than a GTIR pulsar bonnet scoope set up, but my personal favourite (not that it matters much) is the STI WRX scoop of 2005 also I think that the ford colour Citric acid would blend awesomely on a datto with plenty of chrome
