hey everyone..This might be a way out there question but was wondering if a diff out of a datsun 720 diff would fit a 1200 ute?? The inside measurements seem to add up no probs so was hopin I could save the 720 diff for my 1200 engine upgrade... if anyone could help with any info it'd be great........Cheers...

wahay to wide, same width as a 200b or bluebird diff....so a good 3 or 4 inchs wider at the least

Thanks for the info.... it seemed to be close so was hopeful it'd work out for me.... maybe a little too hopeful.... if anyone out there is keen for a 720 diff I have one sittin in my backyard, if no one is keen it's goin to the wreckers, seems like a bit of a waste but.. I will be posting a few bits and pieces up soon from the 720 so if anyone is interested feel free to get in contact with me to work somethin out... surely someone can use something from tnis ute

It's all good... was hopeful to use the diff but.... either way it'll be up for grabs if someone is keen.. and any other parts that someone might be after... The 720 is hopefully goin in a week or 2..
