is there any space left over in the roof?

Could yuo adapt something to the rearview mirror from another car perhaps?

The 75/78/79 series landcruiser has a slimline interior light that sits in the b piller. could try that?

You could do some custom mounting of some home 12v down lights, the little two inch diameter things. In a house they have to be transformed to suit 240v but run perfect off your cars voltage.

Just put some small neon light under your dash, they will light up the inside very nicely,
and you can get different colors. Add some flair to your ride
