They are here and available but too exxcy to get back to Aus compared with the cost of doing a Toyota conversion.

The US is a left drive country & the gearboxes for left drive models use a hydraulic clutch.
If you were successfull in securing a 60 series gearbox, then there is a chance that you could fit it all into an Aussie 60 series 4 speed gearbox case, which will restore the cable slutch operation & save a lot of grief.

If you score a 63 series box, then you will need to do a hydraulic clutch conversion to the car.

They are here, available, plenty, and cheap.

But I hear it costs about $400 USD to ship to Auz. the 60-series 5-speed weighs 70 pounds.
