This conversion has been done in NZ for a 1200 race car so it is possible. I can't recall the gearbox that was used but from what I heard the whole package went well and was potent in the 0-1300cc race class.

I cant think of what motors are in Micras... I know they use CVT transmitions.

I recon you would be better off dropping a A15 in it!

wouldnt a cg18de be a 1.8? or do you mean cg13?

Probably do-able. But you would have to make a bell housing up and sort out your engine mounts. Possibly a sump would have to be modifyed.

Probably would fit and if your after something different, go for it!

Hey mate where abouts in Sydney are you in?

If you can figure out a gearbox, go fot it, I think it would be a great light engine!

In terms of turbo, I think it would be okay, on the theory that ca18 turbos are registerable in NSW but sr20 turbos arnt, based on the original weight of the care and engine displacement.

cheers, Ian

the most dificult part its de dizzy.....you have to change de location in de cg13 engine, but in Portugal we have the cga3 too its 1.4 liters 82 cv manual transmition and uses independent igintion coils
