I am running a stock a12 engine with standard carb on. What is the pro's & con's of changing the carb to side draughts? I recieved a set of Delorto carbs and mainfold with when I bought the bakkie. I am new in this field so any comments are welcome.

would seem like a waste to put that much fuel into a stock A12 ,if u need to upgrade the carby because u are having problems with the standard one then a 26/32 down draught webber would be a lot more bennifical

yea sounds too much... send them too me.. ha ha

if you do the motor up a bit, cam, exhaust etc.. then mabee you could have the dellorto's tuned to suit...

are they jetted to suit the motor, if so put them on and see what they are like

you will definatly notice a difference even on a stock engine

and as your not having to buy them or anything i would think it pointless to spend money on a different carby that has less potential to perform
