Oversize piston question for A15

1.) 78.4mm bore - Am i asking for trouble or is it safe?

2.) The 78.4mm piston which i am sourcing is a "kind of flat" piston. It's abt 1 to 2mm taller than the OEM A15 pistons. Will milling 2mm off the top solve my problem.

Thanks..

it is quite common to bore out to 79mm,
sounds like you may have A14 pistons that are a couple of MM taller..

Not new project, but getting sufficient info's for my "old" project. OCP told me abt your plans too. We'll talk abt it over a drink soon.

Dundee, fyi, its not an A14 piston. It's from a Mitsubishi 4g91 engine.

Another question - The 19mm wrist pin is a standard size part right?. Because im gonna use my A15's con-rod
