will a a14 head fit an a12

will an a14 head fit on an a12 or would it loose too much compresion, i dont mind loosing a bit cos its turboed. as i believe they are the same.right or wrong

an A14 head will bolt straight onto a late A12 block(mid mount dizzy) if its an early A12 the oil gallery needs to be redrilled.
compression wont/shouldn't be any different as the displacement is made up in the stroke and bore of the block. only thing is A12 round port intake may not bolt up and the ports will be round on the inlet manifold, and tiny, not oval like ports on the head.

How,s the turbo deal goin mate? Have u run the 12 down the qrtr boosted?? whats the budget on the A14 head?? Thats a good move! A14 heads gotta flow more air than A12.. Cheers

turbos still running hard at 14 psi just in the process of fitting multiport injection and and a wolf 3d computer just need oval ports for the intake, still havnt done the quarter tho
