I am gonna be rebuilding a A12 engine very soon and i would like to know what inexpencive parts can i add into this engine, while it is open, to give me a little more noticable power.

PS. I will be doing it myself

Thanks
ED

the cheapest additions would have to be a more agressive cam, followed by extractors, then followed by a twin carb setup.

As far as internals go, the a12 is nearly indestructable in a NA situation, so just standard stuff is fine, in my opinion.

Skim the block for some more compression, and you will have a reasonable performing engine.

My little a12 beast has a nasty cam, a block skim, headers and a good exhaust, and a downdraft webber and it goes like clappers. All the internals are standard, and its shown no signs of failing.
