What else other than the original handbrake lever in the 1200's will fit,...e.g (120y, 180b etc)??

maybe a 120Y one would work.

a previous owner had pulled my hand brake handle out of the chassis somehow, so I ended up drilling and bolting it directly to the chassis with some big washers to double it up, only issue is the bolts were a bit long and sometimes scrape the drive shaft in deep bumps.

O OK ......i was trying to get some thing that would bolt in the original holes......
BUT if that works il go with that, il just make a few changes.....with shorter bolts hehe.........

someone may have a better solution, but for me, the original mounting was not gonna work.

I have heard that sunny and stanza ones have the same bolt spacing as the 1200 but that you have to use the 1200 cable (different length?).
I am about to check this myself (have a chrome sunny one that I want to try) so I will let you know the outcome.

I have had a quick look and can definately confirm that the sunny handbrake has the same bolt spacing. Have not yet gotten under the car to remove the handbrake cable but will as soon as I can.
