Well I finally received my new parts from Nissan. New strut cartridge, strut insulators & all new rear spring bushings.

I tried through 2 other dealers who couldn't seem to get anything & these guy's came through.

http://www.nissanparts.cc/

does anyone have one of those rear trunk lid spoilers that went full width of the car. I think it goes over the upper corners of the rear quarters & has an upward flare to it. I know there's pic's of them on this site.

Anyone have one they'd like to sell me?

Thanks, Evan

Evan,
Glad to see your parts finally showed. My idler arm showed up this week, original order date 11/19/07. We decided not to go with the webbers right now as the manifold pou them right in the middle of the brake master. Gonna swap head for now might be in by next weekend.

Thanks Kelmo & DD,
I was wondering about the duals running into the master's, how bad did they interfere? It's obviously been done before w/right hand drive so how does one accomplish this? since I have the dual manifold & would like to do it I was hoping you'd get there first & make all the mistakes for me.

I stupidly only ordered one new strut cartridge which I received thinking I'll use the other NOS one I got from the guy in CA. in retrospect I'm not sure it's such a good idea using one brand new & one 30 year old one. I'm tempted to order another new one & return the other, you guys think there's any issues with mixing the two, am I asking for problems down the road?

It that the same dimensions as the typical bobtail spoiler or is it larger then what's seems like the standard?

I think it is the same dimensions but slightly wider. There are pictures of different Bobtails click the Spoiler link.

The air horn on the webber ends up right in the middle of the brake master. Someone said in another post that TNPshow might have a cad file for making this work. Will have to wait for more funds to accumulate before taking that on.....
