Hey all, Just found THIS coupe on ebay, was rather interested in the roof? they never came out like that did they??? the pic aint that great...

i had 1 about 10 years ago the same with vinyl roof i was told back then they were put on to cover hail damage from when they were sitting on dock and got damaged dont know how true it is but could be 1 reason dont see to many with the vinyl

Yes, both Coupes and Sedans came with vinyl tops. Vinyl Top

ddgonzal, this has a vinyl roof and can be taken off, the ones in the wiki are all over the top of the car, if you look at the one in the pics it starts a bit back... and doesnt go down the pillars...
Edit: buzbox510, did yours come off like this one?

mine was attached and came down rear pillars with the long s shaped badge on each side wasnt removable had a seam each side also covered top of boot lid apon closer look i agree with tyrie looks like a rag top when it is taken off big hole in roof lol in add it says removabe vinyl roof one question why ?

I just thought that it was interesting and wanted to know how common they are, I think that it would quite potentially be a bit of a leak problem...
