After investing years and lots of work I seems to not be able to finish this project, so I offer it to some one else. To mentions some features, the engine is a 1200 original but oppened to 1400cc plus a fully replacement of 80% of all kinds of parts. The paint job was done with white Sikkens polyurethane paint. It does have some paper works issues but can be work out. Location: Costa Rica. For more info contact me at rikardo.molina@gmail.com

Hi Rikardo, I'm interested except in USA we can only bring in an 82 or older (88 is too new).

Can you deliver to shippers if overseas buyers are interested?

dd - Thats a strange law! So the US cant import jap cars from the 90's??? Australia imports 1000's of used jap sports cars!!

Just remembered opposite driver sides so imports from Japan are useless in the US anyway!

Still a strange law....

It is USA federal law -- just like ADR -- we have Traffic Highway Safety (NTHSA) and DOT laws. The cars *must* be designed and certified for USA rules. Exemptions are given to cars 25 years or older.

We can bring in any newer car we want, if it meets USA safety rules. But no other country except Canada uses similar safety regulations. A few european models can be brought in.

That's why Australia and Japan got thin "just for looks" bumpers and we got "real" bumpers.

Also GTR and R34, Porsche 959 and a few others have been certified. We can import those rather easily but they have to be retrofitted to meet emission control (another law ...).
