Hello, I'm currently looking for a 180b brake booster, and would like to know what else I could use in its place. I'm putting a brand new early 120y master cylinder on it and was told 180b booster will fit. I'm doing this to get an engineers cert for a L20B in the 120y. One of the requirements is 180b or similar brake booster.

wait do you have a standard 120y booster even? ignore my last post if you dont.

edit: you'll need an early 180b/120y booster, late models used pbr stuff.

thats pretty stupid that you have to upgrade it to the same thing...

Just repaint your one and say you bought it off a 180b at the wreckers.

ah right, thanks for the info. haha, nah I don't even have a 120y booster. The bloody wreckers don't have any 180b's or 120y's, man they are hopeless. The closest I can find is a late Sunny booster, it has the same master cylinder on it, but does anyone know if the stud pattern for the firewall is the same?

I'll hazard a guess and say it would fit. Get the hose that goes from the manifold as well as it should have a valve in it.

The 210/610/510 boosters have longer studs on the back with an aluminium spacer.

They look like american model numbers, that info is from NZ so could be same there.

I think 210 is meant to be B310 as in sunny.

610 is 180b. So you should be able to use any of them as long as you have the alloy spacer for the sunny, stanza and 180b.

510 is stanza as early 510's (1600's) didnt have boosters.
