hey guys thought i'd start a new topic about my ute project, my plans seem to be getting bigger and bigger every day thinking about what i should do first that i'll have to RE do once it's done... heres a run down

I will highlight the stages i have completed in green so people aren't asking "s it done is it done?"

Engine: Ca18det (from my other ute)

Exhaust: 3"

Wheels: Looking at simmons but we'll see when the time comes

THINGS TO DO
EXTERIOR
-Shave all hooks and rails
-Shave tail gate handles
-shaved fuel filler
-Smoothed out tray
-Smothed engine bay
-Fuel cell in tray
-Surge tank in tray
-Battery in the tray
-fully tubbed
-Roll pan
-Flat hard cover


SUSPENTION AND BREAKS:
-180b Break booster
-Coil overs up front
-Reset leafs in the rear
-Slotted discs all round, unsure what brand atm
-R31 Lsd Diff shortened
-R31 rear breaks

Interior
-Cut down s14 200sx dash
-Retrimed Dash in Leather
-Retrimed seats
-Custom door cards
-Leather pillers/rear fire wall
-OBX bucket seats
-roll cage

ENGINE
-Rebuilt with forged pistons
-Bigger injectors
-worked head
-Microtech computer
-will be going bigger turbo UNSURE what size yet
-Motor will be getting completly detailed/painted, with all braided lines
-Alloy radiator
-450x75x300 intercooler with polished alloy piping
-Turbo smart BOV
-hydrolic exedy 5 puk button clutch
-2x davies craige thermo fans-Drift pod filter

cleaned off the bottom and sanded the stone gaurd in the wheel arch's WOW wat a job that was lol

Looking good joshh, I was in at Micks the other day and was looking at it. The chassis rails came up looking really good. I dont think the wheel wells were stone guarded up front though.
Have you thought about putting a cage in it at all?
I had better tell the painter to get cracking on mine or else you will finish this ute before my car is done

6 people and an engine crane lol and a car frame thing lol

yeh came up really good, i'll try get those other photos to work. dont know what happened. can't wait till it's finished... count down of 2 yrs? lol

Good to see its underway, i remember when you bought that thing. And if its going to be anything like your blue ute then watch out. good luck with the ute and nice pics..
