there is a user here (Nutcase) that had a 120Y/B210 that has a L20B in it and he used a 1600 crossmember to fit it...

Thanks, will definitely look him up!

if it works out, my engine swap may still be a go!

As I recall, he used a crossmember from circa 1980 Datsun 510 which came with L16 engine.

hrmm.

I'm just wondering if i can order the MAZDAT kit for my car even though it's for a 1600. all i'm concerned about is the engine cross member, trans cross member and possibly trans tunnel with slight mods to fit my car!

if you're referring to "the new 510" model A10, known as Stanza in Australia, I can confirm the engine x-member won't fit a B210.

the real 510 x-member is a possibility. But definitely confirm for yourself before ordering a fitting kit!
