picked it up today for a reasonable price has 1200 gx motor basicly no rust and the interior is great for age.

I nearly bought this same car about 3 years ago. He was only asking $450 for it and I couldn't justify the transport costs. It is a bloody ripper though.

Was it at a wrecker's? Only reason I could think of spraypainting Datsun down the side.

i paid far more then 450 but it was defiantly good buy still has the unmolested radio in it! yeh the idea is get this one a quik bog and respray try get the rego then use this till i get the other on the road then take this one off and do it properly. the motor needs a reall good tune up cause its running rough as guts and back firing but its also the original gx block not the head plonked onto a bottom end
[edit] i got this off a fellow forum member and he had spray painted the datsun on it after a few drinks
