hey guys, look i just got myself a 1200 ute project , but i dont know where to start, if there is anyone who can tell me the things that i will need such as drive line diff gearbox etc for it to be a finished project, i have a ca18det to go in but thats where im at, if anyone can offer any assistance , will be much appreciated, cheers please email me at quicksilverdelux@hotmail.com for any info

your lucky to even have a motor im still trying to find mine, motor that is hehe lol, Try MADDAT.COM for starters

If you have the engine, order a MAddat crossmember. At least then you know everything will fit. You can massage the tunnel with a hammer or cut it out and weld a maddat tunnel into place.

Basically you can buy everything needed for the CA transplant nowdays. But if you can fabricate your own stuff it's heaps cheaper.

And if your on the east coast. Kev Rowley is the guro for wire up of the CA with the standard ecu.

Check out the tech section for possible brake and suspension upgrades.
