Time for the seat upgrade hey !!
The way i found best is to swap over the rails and use Datsun ones. Then the Sparco's will bolt straight in. The other way is to make custom brackets (Safe ones).
All sorts of seats can be used just check the width/height etc and make sure you have room before you buy.

I run early 90's Mazda Astina seats in mine - the dimensions are virtually identical to the 1200 seats, so they're an excellent fit. The 1200 frame rails bolt on to the front of the seat, and at the rear, you just need a couple of short pieces of steel to lengthen the rails slightly.

I think the seats are the best upgrade you can do for the comfort of your 1200.
