I bought this recently through here really and about 2 months ago, started having major knee problems which are still recurring as such that im facing alot of medical bills and my gf and i are just about at our wits end. So here goes...
-1971 Datsun 1200 Coupe
-Engineered CA18det conversion, freshly rebuilt with stock internals.
-Full 3" exhaust from turbo to cat, then 2.5" from there to the tip (quiet)
-Lightened flywheel
-Microtech LTX8
-Microtech ignition
-Microtech hand controller mounted to the dash
-Bosch Individual Coils
-Irridium Plugs
-Top Gun leads
-T28 BB turbo
-HKS SBOV
-Pod filter
-FMIC (All piping is SS and nicely TIG welded)
-Silicone hosing everywhere
-New water pump
-R32 radiator (recently flushed with new fluids)
-Twin 12" davies Craig thermo fans
-200B brake booster
-ISC coilovers with pillowball mount and camber adjustment (8kg/mm)
-K-Mac swaybars front and rear
-ALL joint and bushes replaced with nolathane ones
-Gabriel Rear shocks (like a full inch fatter)
-Buddy club P1 pro rims
-S13 front hubs with slotted rotors
-Brand new Xtreme Organic Clutch
-Rebuilt R30 gearbox
-2 front recaro copy seats (reclinable but fixed base)
-BOSS steering wheel
-Pro-Comp Taco (5")
-Auto gauges: Boost, Water Temp, Oil Pres.
-Momo drilled pedals
-Battery relocated to the boot with its own box
-Surge tank setup with lift pump and new Bosch 040 inline
-4 new seat belts
-Torana Guards
-Rego'd till late August in QLD
-Previous owner had it dynoed at 180 odd rwhp at 10psi- plenty potential for more
Ummm thats all the good stuff i can think of now... Im an honest bloke so i will tell you what i think needs to be fixed.
-The main bit of rust is under the right rear bumper. Its been fixed so taht it wont get any worse but it wont get better either
-A bit of surface rust along the passange side panel below the door
-The paint is a little rough but looks fairly good unless you inspect it closely
-A few chips of paint here and there, nothing uncommon for a vehicle this age
-Passanger side door has a crack in the paint below the handle that had started to rust before it was fixed
-Both butterfly windows need replacing as their swivel is cracked and broken, still close though
-The steering column needs a new bush. Im just picky though
