hey guys just put a E15et motor in my datto 1000 ute. not sure if anybody was interested but was anybody interested in knowing how to do it. its taken me like 6 months of fart assing around to make this work. ive also used the stock ecu as its piss easy to wire up. im just a backyarder too so some things may not be upto peoples expectation. ive preety much done this conversion for under $1000. i think its the new hope for datto's but ive had to cut 2 hole in the fire wall aswell. so some people wont do that to their cars but i think the power was worth it? if there is enought interest ill post up a how to thingy

Post up a couple of pics anyway. It's bound to stir up some interest. Good to hear it is finally finished. Now you just have to start on the body. Although it fits in well with the rest of Adelaides decor! tee hee

im trying. i need to get a fan belt, wire up my alternator (its now on the otherside) and joing up exhaust.

another thing i recon it wouldnt be hard to wire up a E series turbo ecu to a turbo'd A15. if the dizzys can be changed over from 1 to another wouldnt the ecu settings be about the same. cant u use e series turbo pistons in A15's? i swear once i had a et wiring loom it took wiring up 3 relays a B+ to get it running. not hrad at all

I take it that the hole in the fire wall was for the dizzy since that points backwards?
