hey all,

im new to the datsun car scene.. its almost like a cult

a few months ago i bought my first datsun( being the 8th car ive owned at 19 :P ).. a 1200ute 85 model.. it came with ca18 forged rods pistons and a t04 turbo, i swapped those parts for a 'worked' a15, 4speed box and tailshaft ( im assuming these came out of a coupe or sedan because the tailshaft was a tiny bit too long )

i started it for the first time a few days ago and oooh it sounds good, it is very lumpy and torquey

all the panels have been replaced and rust is as rare as hens teeth on him ( yes my car is male )

anyway

i see all these numbers and letters being thrown around regarding gearbox's and heads etc..

now my question is how do i determine what head and gearbox etc do i have?
