gday all,im after the easiest bigger disc and caliper upgrade to the standard strut assembly in my 1200 coupe kanacross car.ive read all articles on wiki,but which one to choose!!given all this experience on this sight i thought there might be someone who has done a simpler rotor and caliper change rather than a full strut upgrade.any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated cheers joel

120y/1200 disk strut
s13 silvia non turbo 250mm rotors
matching s13 calipers
custom caliper mounting bracket
machine hub down so disk slides over the hub and bolts on the rest is pretty stright foward mate.

theres currently some on ebay mate but they are esy to make yourself just make a carboard template trace it onto your steel and take it to your local laser cutting or fabrication joint and bam u have silvia brakes. they work very very well so no doubts there

also what model silvia brakes apparently there is a 1.8 and 2 litre non ventilated or ventilated ones thanx

Well as long as they are from a non turbo s13 silvia and are 250mm diameter they are the ones you are after, ventilated disks just offer better brake cooling otherwise the brakes are the same dimensions and such like.

The ad says for 120y struts but 120y struts and 1200 coupe struts are identical so you will still be able to use the struts in your coupe.
