yeah im from melb . i live 20mins from where i picked the car up from in altona north off millers road. old man i bought it off claims to be the owner since new but has no proof.

well i will start off fixing the body and all the rust... i found a place in syd on ebay selling new quater pannels door guards and tail lights assys all new at low prices so im not sure if i shound just replace all the panels or fix the original ones. any suggestions?

Replace the panels. By the looks of it they aren't in the best of nick so if you can afford it I'd just get new ones and keep the old ones as spares, they will always take longer and cost you more to fix than you think, especially the tailgate, looks like its seen better days.

well its now been like a week since i bought my ute
and have so far stripped most of it down
and bare metaled the roof. all other panels have been orded and will be replaced.

getting somewhere now !!
