i am going 2 look at rims for the ute tomoz. i am looking at 17's..

what offset do i need and what is the space between the studs?

no 120y struts shouldnt give any change in track or wheel position

i just went out and mesured the 120y strut (jap spec/most common) and the most i can see you getting in offset would be a 4in back spacing (including tire) becouse at just over 22'' od the tire is just lower than the spring perch... (thats with a 195/35/17)

I did that brake conversion and found that to fit 14 inch corolla wheels with the same offset that the rim just touched on the calipers but a 5mm spacer fixed that. i think it was more the design of the rim than the offset

the tyre shop will tell you what offset you will need just dont mention the 120y struts they will get confused and not want to help.

has the ute got adjustable caster rods? and are the gaurds cut at the front? with out these mods they wont fit without hitting.

if it dosent have this done you can easly fit 16s with 195/45-16 under it without it fouling anywhere,
there is very little that you can get in the right offset to fit 1200 so you can get (bolt on) wheel spacers around 20mm thick then anything will fit.
hope it helps (i run a tyre shop)
