"lumpy" is useualy a turm use and because of your cam.

They stroke them buy puting an a15 cranck in it. or you can just get an a15, witch if not much more HP's they are a fair bit torquyer.

But if you get a weber 32/36 $300ish(in good nick), cam grinde $150ish, and a set of extracktors $200-$300ish, it will move ys datsun along quite well

Or you could go a n/a 12a rotary.

Or n/a SR20

if your good at metal fabrication those last two options can be done Cheepish, and will still blow the door's of most street cars.

I thought 2lt was the limit for a forced induction motor and you could go to to 2.7 or somthing odd like that if it's N/A?? not that it realy afects me as I dont plan on going over 1.5 or forced, I'd rather do a tuff a series and leav most people behinde scratching there head's

Yeah pretty sure your allowed to go up to 2.4 But if this guy cant drive turbos and V8's Then im pretty sure a Rotary would be out of the picture to. Go visit some Datto performance shops or even well known performance engine specialists and tell them what you want the car to do and How much doe you have to spend. Read up in car mags and get an idea what they are talking to you about. Shop around mate. Don't leave it with the first shop u go to.

PM clive on this site.

He is busy doing some mods to his A14 that will give it big cc's.
Something of mix between Nissan/Datsun A series and Mazda parts mixed together.
Think it is A15 crank with some machining and Mazda conrods and pistons.
He has the finer details.

Hey, yes the guys looking for big cc's go for the A15 crank setup that works exccellent with 78mm piston or even 79mm if u have the guts. Im decreasing my stroke by haveing have changed my crank to fit a mazda rod so my cc's will be less then tha A15 crank setup, but i'm looking for high rpm, i'm also going for the 78mm piston i should end up with a 1443 l engine. Just a test though
