because of my stupid electrical problem i am thinking of either tearing all the wiring out and having an auto elect put all new stuff in or taking the ute off the road and doing some kinda conversion.... the holden v6 conversion looks tempting are there any other rear wheel drive 6 cylinders that may fit in?

I've seen a pic on the net of a white 1200 ute with a RB20 in it.

You could do whatever you wanted really if your pockets were deep enough, you could forget about legitimate rego though

ej20 too wide for the inner panels in the engine bay let alone the chasis rails. v6 can be done, rb needs fire wall mods a bit.

haha i posted the syptoms in 'datto no gogo' lol but i will PM you my number and talk through it with you for sure..... i know its gotta be something simple and right in my face i just cant pick it.... ive fixed 2 broken wires and a relay and still no love.... im missing another broken wire somewhere plus whoever wired this up last did a terrible job.... my choices are completely rewire the old girl or do the conversion thing, im leaning towards the CA conversion because its been done plenty times before

I'm thinking rewiring it would be a whole lot cheaper, but you'll end up having a weapon if you do a conversion of some sort.
