Now that is one sweet ride & at the current price, it's an absolute bargain, but I wonder how many know that "doozie" [Doozy] is actually derived from a make of car that was so well made that its nickname was used as a benchmark of excellence.

The American made Duesenberg car was as good as it ever got & RR was a poor second by comparison.
Don't I wish I could afford one.

The Duesenberg brothers, Fred & August, were American, not German.
The production cars were built in Indianapolis.

and still a 120y with painted on white walls.

Im not historically car inept but that is being pedantic. Cant I make a bad taste joke based on the sound of the name?

I think you will find they were migrants to the USA as well, so although not German, they do have European heritage.
