I have 3 sets of R31 plates, 2 just got zinc coated only to find they don't fit straight on, not sure if I want to redrill yet as I need to make some sort of bearing retainer that way.

Been through your photos and saw where I went wrong with parts, I have R31 discs which are same offset as bluebird and some bluebird calipers.

bearing retainer is easy, 2 half moon sorta doovers welded in the middle of the caliper mount....would give you pics but dont think i took any when i made boofs ones

r31 discs, bluebird calipers and r31 caliper brackets should still all go together
pretty sure the caliper bracket on the caliper was the same offset between the r31 and bluebird

Yeah the Bluebird calipers bolted onto the car I got the discs from.

I might have a pair of backing plates lined up now, I just need to find a replacement pair.

Cheers!

need to run the bluebird disc with the bluebird backing plates, makes fitting wheels harder with 280mm discs

Really? How come?

My wheels will probably miss the discs altogether, -20mm 13x7s with 50mm bolt-ons.

Oh is it because of the larger diam disc?
