got my car back went to fit new gx grille and none of the mounting holes line up any ideas

i know that when you try to fit a coupe style grille to a 1200 with a metal grille you need to weld new brackets on. i found out this the hard way when i bought a coupe style grille off ebay and nothing was there to connect it to.
not sure about if the gx grilles are different though.

not lining up at bottom metal tags from plastic grille in way was told this grille was on a coupe and was no modifications

yeah that looks pretty whacky

how the hell will a headlight fit in that, looks like the grill sits 6inches forward of where headlight is

and there appears to be no mounting holes for top

thats nothing like a coupe grill

once i remove mounting tabs for plastic grille the mounting tabs for new grille line up with two square holes but not on top is this where yours is bolted pepper

was bought as a gx 1200 grille and they said it was on a coupe but originally on a sedan
