or can anyone shed some light.
Have just bought a ca for the conversion!

theres litrally a wealth of knowledge on this subject, there are so many members that have done the CA18 conversion. There was a link to a site that has pretty much a step by step guide, don't know if the link still works, just do a search you should be able find heaps to help you on your path.

my advise is if u arenot sure what needs to be done you probably shouldnt try it haha its not an easy job especially if u have no idea.

Also make sure you have enough money to finish it cause it's sad seeing unfinished projects come up for sale constantly.

Cost i agree is the biggest thing. There are plenty of things you wouldnt think of that you have to buy (Im finding that out now)
Just depends on how much you wanna really spend..............
You can go all out and get all MADDAT stuff and i think they do drive in drive out for around 10-15K.

or it can be really cheap, im budgeting just over a grand to do my CA18DE+t that should put a stock DET to shame
