Well ive decided to take the 1000 off the road for a little bit for a freshen up. Just lots of little things i rushed when i first did the resto that I wanna redo... That and i got my hands on a 5spd for it! Just a 60series overdrive box but ill mate that to a 4.37:1 welded centre for a little fun. Also on the cards are lower pro tyres for the Watanabes and lower it a little more!

Also I have full use of the garage now my parents moved out and Dad took all his Harley crap with him

Haha nearly, Sister and her fiance moved back in but I have free run of the place pretty much!

Trim wise i might make some new door cards up but i have a pretty good coupe dash in it atm so that will stay. Gotta sort out a centre consol too.

But between this and the cruiser I can see its gonna be a very slow 'freshen up'. My welder is broke too!

I love the fact Mike that you constantly talk about getting yours back.... hmm its been what 8 years now or something like that!

I reckon getting mine back is more likely... and even that seems a way off.

Looking forward to the progress Chris. Ill race ya to completition! Mine is still in primer and at the panel beaters for the primary clean up.

Haha thought I would get a comment from you about that. 175/50 are the go for the front and then ill throw the 185s on the back.

And it will be finnshed soon enough, cant get the welder fixed till some time in the new year so i have a few weeks of 1000 before its full bore on the 60series again... Not that theres much left anyway
