figred it had been long enough and i sorted how to post pictures ... so here goes

i bought my datsun 1000 wagon of a mate he had plans to create a granny spec wagon but lost intrest so i snapped it up.

bringing it home was fun my mate lives about 500 meters as the crow flies but you need to go about 1km of main road to get to myn... so i waited till dark and drove my pannelless wagon through a council reserve and up some backroads to my house haha...

i had images of it the night i got it but put my phone through the wash sooo it starts with dad and i replaced the panels so it looked like this

the bonnet was drifter style black when i got it with a stencil 1969 VB10 on it bit dodgy hahah

we decided not to do a full respray for some unnkown reason. i will when it becomes a major project not just a daily

but the paint job came out alight for myn and dads first atempt

i would weld it but only as a last resort because i think it would be alot harder to find spare axels for a 1000 in SA than the diff centre

Chances are if you goto a wrecker for shocks... They will be just as soft as your current ones! Get em new! There is a reason people are using Torry shocks and not 1000 ones
