hey guys just looking for a throttle body upgrade for my ca18det was doing some match porting today and i reckon i could gain a bit of power over the stocky, she looks pretty small considering the amount of extra airflow. anyways im after something that will be bolton if not just a bit of wiring was looking at rb30et looks like same tps and probly bolt spacings.. i know rb20 is close just diff tps, anything even rb25 or something.
if anyone has something pm me and if u can let us know throat size cheers people.

SR20DE throttle body is the go a few mates have done it, bolts on to the ca plenum just need to port match it the manifold. Its 60mm Vs 54mm for the CA. It would probably be safer to get a silvia one as I have a feeling FWD sr20 throttle bodies have a different bolt pattern, although I can't confirm.
Although if the fwd ones have the same bolt pattern you could buy a N1 sr16ve throttle body they are 70mm, but you'd have to buy one new through nissan as you'd never find a 2nd hand one (n1 sr16ve pulsars were built in the hundreds) . Unsure on the price but could probably russle up a p/n for you if you were keen.

Also sr16ve's and sr20ve's have a mechanical cold start on the throttle body so you could do away with the messy ca cold start.
I gave my sr20ve throttle body to a mate for his ca but i'm unsure whether he has fitted it up yet. std sr16ve/sr20ve throttle bodies are 60mm
