Any one got records of Datsun Engine lifetime (in Miles)if it is maintained properly.

And also lifetime between major engine repairs ?

Specialy A10,A12,A13

I've never had an A series die on me, maybe drink a little more, but they never die..

Its a A series. Keep oil to it and it will last forever!

I had an A15 once that had done 275,000kms. It was as good as new. All my other cars have only had 6 didgits on the Odo.
I'd say one that has been looked after well would do 450-500,000kms.

minisprint/stock guys have managed to kill a few but they're race engines. On the road, as long as she has oil she'll just keen running

you could fill one with used cooking oil the run it on kero and it will still run forevr ... a12s have been around for about 40 years and counting and im sure there are some out there that have never been touched

Mine is now 36 years old, never rebuilt, doesn't burn oil. It has over 100,000 miles on it.

A12s often go 250,000 miles without a rebuild. However, you can wear one out in the course of a year depending on how you drive.

I killed an a12 that i had in a 411 but that was over twenty years ago, and the previous owner had not taken very good care of it.

my sunny lasted till 2002, it had done 750000km's
