A friend of mine is keen to find out which Nissans ran a twin spark distributor in them.

I couldn't answer off the bat, google seems to think it could be a Series III Bluebird CA20, or maybe even a Pintara.

...it even reckons some of the old CA18s? and a Z18ET - has any got any experience with these and knows for sure?

Entire Z-series I think.

These twin plug heads were developed to reduce emissions. They may or may not be good heads for performance.

The friend of mine actually has an Alfa - he's dropping a twin spark engine into it - it has two dizzys and he'd heard of a Nissan motor that did the job with a single dizzy.

He figured I knew everything about Nissans....when it wasn't about a 1200 or a CA18DET I was in trouble....

Thanks for the input - I steered him towards S3 Bluey or Pintara CA20 as his best options....hope I was right.
