problem fitting brand new guards

hey guys i have my 2 door im doing up. i have bought brand new guards, bonnet and apron. i went to fit the 1st guard and i noticed the bolts towards the back of the gurad dont line up (top and bottom bolt) has anybody experienced the same? just wondering how to go about fitting them? will the bonnet line up?

after market panels usually dont line up your just going to have to mod them into fitting!

should be able to make em work, just get the lines right then elongate the mounting holes if needed..

i had to cut a little extra overhang that was fouling at the corner of the cowl panel where it folds back in

ya it looks like i have to drill out the top engine bay holes (on the guard) a little just so it can sit back about 5-7mm

couple of different sized fine round files and a dolly kit all will be good mate. Be Gentle it is there first time you know

most china and repro pannels dont fit to well, i have both my guards hanging but i had to cut off the bolt hole on the top by the door and lengthen it about 6 mm,
a new repro bonnet fits really well and matches the guards sweet

i found it easy to put back bolts in first then work from there, i then had to do a little massageing but not to hard all pulled up nice

ebay panels are the worst lol, i got a front left guard and i had to elongate, massage and chop! took me about two hours to FIT!
