Just wanted to find out how many people are using stock mechanical fuel pumps with worked A or L-series motors running twin 40's?

Im getting tired of my Holley pump, want somthing quieter, just worried the mechanical pump wont be enough for the worked A15 on 40's.

The stock pump is fine:
1. It has the correct pressure for sidedrafts
2. It outputs a minumum of 450cc/minute at idle (and more at higher RPM)
Just test it to be sure it is working within specifications.

Is 450cc/minute enough? Consider that a 3.8 liter V6 only uses 24cc/minute at idle, which is about 1/20th of the stock A15 pump output.
