Just got mail back from Chinatuning they say each radiator can be posted individually but will cost too much (around 100usd) so shipping in one
lot is cheaper by sea. I thought they had sea mail for individual items???

Anyone know what the story is in China for sea mail? is it like London where
you cant send anything through international post over 2kg for you have to use
their freight services.

this is where it goes pear shaped,
bulk purchase like this is commercial, we will get slugged import duty and GST + shipping,

Shouldn't be too bad... 22 alloy radiators don't weigh to much and sea freight is cheap. The import duty is around 22% + GST 10% so might add $30 to your radiator cost. Then you'll need to courier them inside Australia which considering the weight for individual radiators won't be that bad either. Considering custom made 3 core alloy radiators made here cost upwards $500, you'll still be miles in front.

could be keen for one... is there one post the covers the entire details of what i will be purchasing, i browsed the other thread but it seemed quite concept only...

what are the final details and cost? or is this list just expression of interest at this stage?

if so add me to the list, otherwise i never saw final details so unsure

at the end of the last thread where the final diagrams
and prices.
but here they are again, like I said i was looking origianlly
at 100usd but got the best quote at 70 USD for 15 and $60 USD
for 50. I dont know the cost of freight yet but she told me
that to do individual freight would cost up to $100usd by air
express as supposedly they cant do slow mail or sea mail.
Does anyone if this is because chinese post offices dont do
over 2kg packages and refer to freight companies instead like
in Brittain?

Here are the pics
